atelier ORA was founded in Zurich in 2014 from the collaboration between Enrique Orti and Ilaria Riscassi. The practice develops its work in the context of European architecture, carrying out projects mainly in Switzerland, Italy and Spain. Our work is based on constant investigation and research: the development of the contemporary city, urban design, new forms of living and the evolution of public space are our main fields of interest.

Internship 6-12 months

Minimum of 4 semesters of architecture studies and very good graphic and model building skills are required. Proficiency in Archicad, Cinema 4D, Photoshop and InDesign are a plus.

Renovation of a residential complex

We are working on the renovation of two residential buildings in Pfäffikon. The 22 rental apartments will be adapted to today's living standards. The renovation of all bathrooms and kitchens and the replacement of the heating system will make the residential complex ready for a new life cycle. We look forward to the beginning of construction in summer 2021.

3rd Place Competition Menzingen

Our design for the conversion and extension of the monastery in Menzingen, in collaboration with architect Rolf Schaffner, achieved 3rd place! The project aims to accommodate the new uses with minimal interventions in the existing substance and a new building in hybrid construction and at the same time it emphasises the historical image of the monastery.

Rustico Mozzio

We are working on the conversion and extension of a rural building into a weekend retreat in the Valle Antigorio. The project aims to preserve the exterior image in stone and provides an extension in timber. The construction site will start in spring 2021.

Talks "Serate giovani professionisti"

Next Tuesday, 06.10.20 we will be presenting our work and talking about our approach to architecture and our position regarding to the role of the Architect nowadays.

The Association of Architects of Monza and Brianza organises the CYCLE "SERATE GIOVANI PROFESSIONISTI". This year, for the first time, the evenings will take place through a Webinar due to the health emergency.

4th Prize Loreto school complex
